‘Enough is Enough,’ NJ judge tells lawyer

What a teaser! And this is in Jersey, so what could “simply inexcusable” conduct mean in Jersey, given Jersey’s current governor–a model of conduct in that state.

Sure, about overstating his fees–that stinks, yes–but I want to know what, on top of the fee problem, his “unprofessional and unreasonable behavior” consisted of.

‘Enough is Enough,’ Judge Tells Lawyer in $160K Fee Dispute

A lawyer who sued a New Jersey school district on behalf of a special-needs student has been taken to task by a federal judge for “simply inexcusable” conduct in the matter, and in his bid for $160,000 in fees and costs. A 68-page opinion by U.S. District Judge Renee Bumb upbraids Cherry Hill solo Jamie Epstein for what the judge called a “pattern of overstating his fees and engaging in unprofessional and unreasonable behavior.”
