On Why Evolution Is True, my friend Jerry Coyne’s on-line discussion and dissertation on evolution and other things, Jerry (who is a scientist) has himself naturally evolved into analyzing the forever war of religion against science, i.e., the spirit of god versus the spirit of man.
Today, he’s pointed out that the New York Times, which did publish that great ad from the Freedom From Religion Foundation urging Catholics to leave the Church, has it seems been intimidated into rejecting the same foundation’s ad advising Muslims, especially women, to leave Islam.
