A defense lawyer who could next be working for Trump

It’s his argument in support of his defendant client, as reported by Harper’s Weekly review:

In France, the trial began for 18 people accused of participating in a horsemeat scam. “Even if I admit it can’t be pleasant to learn that your horse has ended up at the abattoir, a priori, nobody died poisoned,” said a lawyer for one of the defendants.
