♥ According to the Daily Beast reporter who is, lucky guy, covering the People’s Convoy, the Convoy is re-dedicating its Mission to performing “citizens’ arrests” of DC Mayor Muriel Bowser and maybe some DC cops. Seems they’ve worn out whatever original purpose they had just about the time we’d all forgotten what it was. Moreover, there’s been some kvetching from the Convoyers: when they drive around and around the Beltway in perpetual motion, they can’t stop to pee and are, therefore, peeing in their pants.
When I read this, I had an epiphany, one of those bursting fireworks kinds of epiphanies: This entire convoy thing was invented and is being led by Sacha Baron Cohen.
