Animal news: clown fish, orcas and Indian elephants

From April and May Harper’s Findings:

Clown fish can count the number of vertical bars on other fish.

Have they explained how they apply this talent?

An orca acting alone killed a great white shark and ate its liver.

With fried onions, I hope?

Over the course of a year, Indian elephants in the eastern Himalayan floodplains buried five dead calves upside down in irrigation ditches on tea plantations.

I can’t know what it means but I’m sure it has meaning for the mother elephants. I find this so moving.
