Animal news: Humpback whale in the Hudson River

Yes — although the photo could be of Nessie. Or maybe not.

Since the whale was seen around 72nd Street, I’d suggest people without high low density lipids buy a pastrami sandwich and go west to the river and watch the whale while eating.

Too much?

No! And here’s further proof. Of the whale, that is. I don’t feel it’s safe to report further about pastrami.

P.S. The whale is “known” to New York whale professionals. Her (?) name is Whale 89. Oh, c’mon, people. She’s commanding the Hudson River and all you can call her is “89”?
