Attorney Resigns From Bar After Felony Conviction

Brooklyn attorney Michael Levitis, who was convicted last year of federal charges for running a debt collection relief scheme and who was facing disciplinary action, has resigned from the bar.

By the way, does Mr. Levitis’s business — a debt collection relief scheme — sound like ads we all hear on late-night TV? Yes it does.
