Just to highlight, this is in contemplation of coming up with funding for pro bono civil–not criminal, which is already funded although not amply-–legal services in New York. When the location and time for the public hearing is announced, anyone who hasn’t been able to afford a lawyer for a civil problem should show up to support this move.
