Let me admit right now that the reason I clicked on a tweet from Lawyers.com is because it proposed to answer the question, Can NFL ticket holders sue the League because of the replacement refs?
As a football fan — but an otherwise rational person —I was amused. And the article did not actually answer this pressing question. (What damages would a ticket holder demand in this lawsuit? Pain and suffering?) But I wasn’t entirely disappointed to read on, because the article lays out with exemplary clarity the, well, look above at the title.
As an inadvertent plaintiff in several class action lawsuits, I was interested to learn how and why an individual might organize his own class action lawsuit. Take a look. But don’t be crushed: I don’t think you’ll be suing the NFL.
