From Harper’s Weekly Review:
Over 20 years after the Association for Dressings and Sauces petitioned for the deregulation of French dressing, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced they would revoke their official standards.
What are their official standards? Do they apply to those of us who make our own French dressing?
P.S. Why is the FDA getting involved with salad dressing? Or maybe I should ask, what is in that French dressing?
