Do you think about the Gosselins? I don’t but am reminded

I don’t watch “reality” TV but as anyone who reads Sidebar knows, I am devoted to the Daily News and its gossip columns. So I do have a dim awareness of what is out there in TVland.

I did know that once upon a time there was a family of way too many children with photogenic (I saw photos, yes) parents called the Gosselins. And I was aware that the Gosselins divorced. And then I was dimly aware that each of them tried for his ‘n’ her own shows but maybe everybody got tired of them and who knows, but they disappeared from view. Swallowed up, as it were, by the inimitable Kardashians, whose shelf life has been surprising.

Well, they’re back. The Gosselins, I mean. Because: Kate Gosselin files lawsuit against ex-husband Jon Gosselin, accusing him of hacking her phone and computer – NY Daily News.

I leave it to you to read it. My initial reaction was, “Gee, this is a way to get attention when nobody is paying attention to you anymore.” They could both do a “The Gosslins: The Lawsuit,” TV show. My thoughtful reaction is, “Gee, this is a way to get attention when nobody is paying attention to you anymore.”

(I don’t know what tag I should apply to this. Any ideas?)
