Can you imagine? A lawyer who’s chosen specialty is “elder law”, i.e., protecting older people from, among other things, being victimized by unscrupulous con men or family members, victimized her (elder) clients to the tune of $797,000. I believe this is called “identification with the aggressor.” I believe this is also called criminal.

A Long Island elder law attorney has admitted to embezzling more than $797,000 from her clients over a four-year period, the Queens District Attorney’s Office announced on Tuesday.
