Got this from twitter this morning, via the highly respected Legal Times:
Federal Government, Courts Close for Snow – The BLT: The Blog of Legal Times.
And I laughed. Because years ago I was once in DC when a couple of crazy little snowflakes, renegades actually, came down from the sky and ….
The whole town shut down.
Hard to believe a world capital still closes down like a village in the Dakotas when threatened with two inches of snow. (Apologies to the Dakotas if they all drive through three-foot drifts in their trucks.) But then I’m a New Yorker, not a Southern belle. Who does wonder that a major legal paper does a tweet about a couple of flakes not justices on the Supreme Court.
