Finding a lawyer: Don’t hire one with a U of Texas law degree

Meet Cody Wilson. He is the man who, according to Stephen Rex Brown in today’s Daily News, “wants to turn the Internet into an arms bazaar — and New York’s ‘nanny state’ pooh-bahs aren’t going to stop him.”

Man who used 3-D printer to create gun hopes efforts can ‘destroy the spirit of gun control itself’ – NY Daily News.

Yes, this is the man who “printed out” a plastic gun from a 3-D printer and demonstrated how it works  — and then “gave away the plans for free on the Web.”

“We’re forcing the opposition’s hand. (Guns) will always be out there,” he said.

Here are a few more things he said:

“Mayor Bloomberg, Gov. Cuomo and Sen. Chuck Schumer all have ‘an animosity toward the firearm, and by extension personal liberty.'”

…”great thinkers in nanny states will do anything to maintain power.”

“I’m unhappy they [the families of Sandy Hook school victims] were able to leverage their victimhood for the reduction of liberties of their fellow citizens…They’re playing small ball…We’re playing a much bigger game.”

But don’t worry. He’s the son of a lawyer. And is a law student of the University of Texas at Austin.

I used to think that Austin was not a bad university. I’ve changed my mind. Unless the school declines to give this emotionally disturbed and illogical character a law degree. But they’d better let us all know fast before he sets up his practice. Or kills someone. Whichever comes first.
