The Washington Post reported that Biden will unveil a new 20% minimum tax targeting American households worth more than $100 million as part of its 2023 budget, proposing a direct tax on the ♥ richest 700 Americans for the first time.

From AP: Republican U.S. Rep. ♥ Jeff Fortenberry of Nebraska says he will resign after he was convicted of lying to authorities.

From the New York Times: “A federal judge ruled on Monday [3/28] that former President ♥ Donald J. Trump and a lawyer who advised him on how to overturn the 2020 election most likely committed felonies, including obstructing the work of Congress and conspiring to defraud the United States.” The judge wrote, “The Court finds it more likely than not that President Trump corruptly attempted to obstruct the Joint Session of Congress on 1/6/21.”

In a 2-1 decision, North Carolina judges rule that the state’s law disenfranchising 56,000 people on probation or parole due to felony conviction violates the NC Constitution.
