“How long have you been waiting to vote?”

The most powerful remark I’ve heard about voting came from Cecile Richards a few nights ago, when she was on with Rachel Maddow.

Richards, who now lives in New York, was out at an early voting site in the city, where the lines were very long.

She asked a woman who was on line, “How long have you been waiting to vote?”

The answer: “Four years.”
