A while ago, I came down hard against wearing UGGs (the antipodean boots) to court.
I still feel that way. But back then I gratuitously threw in a comment about UGGS as useless in New York City winter weather, because everyone in NYC knows that city snows require warm waterproof boots, due to the formation of icy slush pools (especially the one at the corner of 11th Street and Seventh Avenue). And UGGS were not waterproof.
UGG must have read that post because I just saw an ad for UGG waterproof boots!
But Sidebar Sez you can only wear them to court if there’s at least a foot of snow on the ground.
