I don’t want to get you too excited. But…

I’ve just gone through all the available latest polls as posted by 538.com.

Maybe it’s because I went through all the states, one by one, for which polls have been posted, both presidential polls and senate polls. Because, hey.

The usual suspects are as usual. That is, New York, California, Massachusetts, etc. have gigantic numbers for Biden. But what isn’t usual are the numbers for the indelible red states. Let me give you a few of them, as well as some swing states we all get to worry about:

Arkansas – Biden 45; Trump 47

Florida – Biden 49.6; Trump 42.8

Georgia – Biden 46.8; Trump 46.1

Mississippi – Biden 41; Trump 50 (Trump down 1 since last poll)

Missouri – Biden 43.5; Trump 48.5 (Trump down 3 since last poll)

Montana – Biden 40; Trump 45 (Trump down 18 since last poll)

North Carolina – Biden 46.4; Trump 45.1

Ohio – Biden 45; Trump 43 (Trump down 3 since last poll)

Pennsylvania – Biden 48.8; Trump 43.7 (Trump down 2.1 since last poll)

South Carolina – Biden 42.3; Trump 50.4 (Trump down 2 since last poll)

Texas – Biden 46.4; Trump 47.1 (Trump down since earlier poll)

Utah – Biden 38.0; Trump 46.4 (in April Biden was 32 and Trump 51)

Wisconsin – Biden 48.8; Trump 42.3

Take another look at Arkansas (Arkansas!), Georgia (Georgia!), Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, North Carolina (North Carolina!), South Carolina and Texas (Texas?!).

Biden may not win all of them but the steady movement in the numbers toward Biden and away from Trump is pretty stunning. To me, anyway.
