He hits his little bro in $20M suit<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n It’s the brother of all lawsuits.<\/em><\/p>\n A Manhattan man has filed a $20 million lawsuit against the little brother whom he says falsely accused him of trying to kill him.<\/em><\/p>\n Silvio Spallone, 55, was looking at a possible maximum sentence of 15 years to life in prison after he was arrested earlier this year for allegedly trying to gun down his little brother, Frank, 53.<\/em><\/p>\n Fortunately for Silvio, video cameras, credit card receipts and witness statements backed up his alibi \u2014 at the time of the alleged rubout in Queens, Silvio was in lower Manhattan.<\/em><\/p>\n The family drama began in March, when Frank told cops at the 105th Precinct Silvio “attempted to murder him.”<\/em><\/p>\n Silvio was arrested a week later, and charged with attempted murder, said his lawyer, Andrew Wigler. Silvio eventually hired a private eye, who uncovered evidence proving he was not in Queens that night but instead was dining with his wife near their Battery Park City home. The alibi evidence was corroborated by the Queens DA’s office, which asked a judge to dismiss the charges on July 1, court papers say.
