Anyway. Hello, Insane Clown Posse! Now that we&#8217;ve just met, let me report on what happened to you when you sued. Again. For the umpteenth time. (I believe this is called litigious paranoia.)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>&#8220;Flat-out ridiculous and un-American bullshit&#8221; is probably the lead quote from Insane Clown Posse&#8217;s press conference about the June 30 decision dismissing its lawsuit against the FBI for classifying its fans as a &#8220;gang&#8221; (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/news\/morning-mix\/wp\/2014\/07\/10\/court-wont-stop-fbi-from-calling-insane-clown-posse-and-juggalos-a-gang\/\" target=\"_blank\">Washington Post<\/a>). \u00a0Violent J wasn&#8217;t talking about the decision itself, but rather the discrimination against Juggalos that was the basis for the allegations in the lawsuit.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center; padding-left: 30px;\"><em><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/d9LRWMDumvs?rel=0\" width=\"400\" height=\"225\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>I&#8217;m on record as agreeing with ICP on this, although I think I have generally used slightly different wording. See &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.loweringthebar.net\/2011\/05\/suspects-juggalo-status-unclear-say-juggalo-experts.html\">Suspect&#8217;s\u00a0Juggalo\u00a0Status Unclear, Say Juggalo\u00a0Experts<\/a>&#8221; (May 31, 2011); &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.loweringthebar.net\/2012\/08\/legal-action-announced-at-gathering-of-the-juggalos.html\">Legal Action Announced at Gathering of the\u00a0Juggalos<\/a>&#8221; (Aug. 14, 2012) (referring to earlier FOIA lawsuit);\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.loweringthebar.net\/2014\/01\/juggalos-sue-fbi-again.html\">Juggalos Sue FBI Again<\/a>\u00a0(Jan. 10, 2014) (the present case).<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>ICP&#8217;s lawsuit focused on the FBI&#8217;s 2011 National Gang Threat Assessment, which classified &#8220;Juggalos&#8221; as a &#8220;loosely organized non-traditional hybrid gang subset,&#8221; which is a category that really mocks itself but which I&#8217;ll mock (for the third time now) as being <a href=\"http:\/\/www.loweringthebar.net\/2012\/08\/legal-action-announced-at-gathering-of-the-juggalos.html\" target=\"_self\">defined so broadly<\/a> it would also include the cast of Saturday Night Live.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Somehow, I think you&#8217;ll want to read the rest of this: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.loweringthebar.net\/2014\/07\/icp-will-appeal.html?utm_source=feedburner&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=Feed%3A+LoweringTheBar+%28Lowering+the+Bar%29\">Insane Clown Posse Will Appeal Loss in &#8220;Juggalo Gang&#8221; Case &#8211; Lowering the Bar<\/a>.
