I thought I was finished posting today. Until I read the Daily News, and picked up the marvelous hard copy headline IT’S SLAM ON RYE<\/strong>, and story following up the Carnegie Deli divorce<\/a> (as I’ve posted about a number of times)<\/a>, coupled (as Judge Matthew Cooper so harshly pointed out) with the employment lawsuit against the Deli.<\/a><\/p>\n

Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Matthew Cooper berated Marian Harper Levine during Wednesday’s hearing after she accused him of making light of her case during previous proceedings.<\/em><\/p>\n

They\u2019re spoiled meat moguls, as far as he\u2019s concerned.<\/em><\/p>\n

A Manhattan judge ripped a pair of big shots from the Carnegie Deli at their divorce proceeding Wednesday \u2014 chiding them for wasting time with a petty beef as the cases of less fortunate parties were put on the back burner.<\/em><\/p>\n

Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Matthew Cooper said he \u201c[couldn\u2019t] care less about both of these people, in a sense\u201d while tearing into Marian Harper Levine after she accused him of making light of pastrami puns at earlier court dates.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cWhat I care more about is the fact that they\u2019ve made millions of millions of dollars on the backs of dishwashers and cleaners and pastrami slicers who make as much in a year as they\u2019ve made in a day or two,\u201d the irked judge added at a divorce conference between Marian and Sandy Levine.<\/em><\/p>\n

Ooh, slam bam Judge Cooper. Bravo!<\/p>\n
