Anna Duggar, the Christian reality TV star whose hubby has been caught in a sex scandal, won’t be seeking a divorce, one report claims.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I glanced through this article–glanced, because I have no interest in pointing out the multiple repulsive contradictions festering within these ever-so-Christian families (although is it rude for me to point out to the Daily News that Duggar’s “sex scandal” is actually criminal behavior?)–until I focused on these bolded paragraphs (my bolding):<\/p>\n

It all unraveled in the last few months, beginning in May when Josh admitted to molesting five girls, including two younger sisters, years earlier. TLC dropped the TV show in June.<\/em><\/p>\n

Then came revelations that Duggar spent $1,000 on sex services and allegedly wrote on the site that he was looking for \u201cSomeone I Can Teach,\u201d \u201cSomeone Who Can Teach Me\u201d and \u201cExperimenting With Sex Toys.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

His 27-year-old wife, who gave birth to daughter Meredith Grace last month, feels responsible, according to People.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“Maybe not publicly, ever, but privately, there will be some suggestion of whether or not she should have been more aware of the pressures Josh was under, of the issues he was facing, and how she could have better counseled him or helped him,” the source told the magazine.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Did you get that? Aside from this guy’s complex of pathologies–including, in my judgment, sociopathy and pedophilia–his fundamentalist Christianity has (according to an anonymous source, which makes me really uneasy but it sounds plausible) landed the blame for his incorrigible sickness on…his wife.<\/p>\n

Once again we see that monstrous demon with two heads: severe religiosity and hatred of women.<\/p>\n
