I had a hard time reading this story and an equally hard time believing it. In fact, I’d advise anyone with a solid brain but a shaky cardiovascular system not to read it at all.<\/p>\n

It’s true. Not only have corporations skewed the system against individuals obtaining justice for wrongs the corps commit by sneaking rock-solid arbitration agreements into consumer contracts, now we have religion skewing the system against justice by using not simply arbitration to keep out of the courts, but arbitration hearings ruled by religious precepts!<\/p>\n

These are great “Christians” who evade the court system and its ethical obligation to even-handedness by applying…I can’t believe I’m typing this…BIBLICAL edicts to legal disagreements that should be heard in courts. I presume these scurrilous people are closely related to the loonies who insist on legislation that bars Shariah law from their jurisdictions.<\/p>\n

That is, Islamic religious edicts are verboten, but Christian religious edicts are perfectly legal.<\/p>\n

Is it worthwhile to ask what happened to the First Amendment in this country?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
