From today’s Harper’s Weekly Review:<\/p>\n

…a 70-year-old man in Kansas City, Kansas, deliberately got himself arrested for bank robbery to avoid fixing the dryer for his wife.<\/em><\/p>\n

(I’m trying to think of how to comment on this but I’ve failed. Thus, this parenthetical confession.)<\/p>\n

Ooh, ooh, I thought of something to say: if he’d consulted with his wife, he’d probably have learned it would be far less expensive to hire someone to fix the dryer. Or buy a new one. Or…see, guy?<\/p>\n
