She\u2019s not going to law school, but says she\u2019s doing a four-year apprenticeship with a San Francisco firm, after which she would take the bar in 2022. You don\u2019t have to have a law degree to take the California bar, or even a college degree, which is good because she doesn\u2019t have one of those either.\u00a0But almost no one who doesn\u2019t have those things passes. Will she be one of the extremely tiny percentage who does? \u201cThe reading is what really gets me. It\u2019s so time-consuming,\u201d she told\u00a0Vogue, so no.<\/em><\/p>\n Let me fill in what I know. Kim’s father, Robert Kardashian, had a law degree, too. He didn’t use it much but did activate his license to practice on behalf of his close friend, O.J. Simpson.<\/p>\n (I’m sitting here considering how much of this I can say openly.) (Let’s try circumscription:)<\/p>\n Something happened when Kim’s father went to the jail with some other of O.J.’s lawyers for a visit. Kim’s father was observed doing something surreptitious that was, gee, unethical.<\/p>\n A process was initiated in the California legal disciplinary agency, a process which might very well have caused Robert Kardashian to be disbarred or otherwise censured. I do not know whether that happened, or whether it didn’t.<\/p>\n Kim’s father died in 2003 and is, as far as I know, still dead.<\/p>\n There.
