A little boy, maybe as old as four but possibly not, was in front of me at the mushroom bin. He grabbed one shitaki mushroom, turned around, held up the mushroom and said — in the high flutey voice common among most little boys — “Daddy?”<\/p>\n
His father, a few feet away, looked at his son and said, “We have enough mushrooms at home.”<\/p>\n
