“According to the New York Times<\/a>, the DOJ has moved past the preliminary stage of the inquiry that was reported last month<\/a> and has now begun a grand jury investigation into the matter.”<\/p>\n

From me: I’m glad this points out the movement from investigation to grand jury. If the DOJ did not feel it had solid evidence, it wouldn’t have convened a grand jury.<\/p>\n

\u2665<\/span> From Julia Davis, “When the soldiers of an elite Russian army brigade were told in early April to prepare for a second deployment to Ukraine, fear broke out among the ranks: “Many of us simply did not want to go back… I want to return to my family \u2013 and not in a casket.\u201d<\/span> \u2018They were furious\u2019: the Russian soldiers refusing to fight in Ukraine: Troops are saying no to officers, knowing that punishment is light while Russia is supposedly not at war.<\/span>”<\/p>\n

Which reminds me. This is a good time to read or re-read War and Peace. <\/em>There are such sriking parallels, you’ll wonder whether you’re reading today’s newspaper. Or Twitter.<\/p>\n
