It was reported that Amazon plans to replace more than half a million employees with a robot workforce; and a leaked document revealed that the company, the largest owner of data centers in the world, conspired to conceal from the public the true extent of its water use.<\/em><\/p>\n And…<\/p>\n [O]wners of \u201cPod\u201d smart beds found that their mattresses were \u201coverheating and stuck in odd positions\u201d during an Amazon Web Services outage initiated by a bug in the company\u2019s automation software. \u201cI\u2019m sleeping in a sauna,\u201d wrote one smart bed user.<\/em><\/p>\n Today, I read that Bezos’s Amazon shares just increased in value by $10 billion.<\/p>\n Also Amazon is “donating” to the Trump ballroom.<\/p>\n And workers for Amazon and Walmart (and another company can’t remember which) are a large contingent of people dependent on SNAP benefits, because the companies don’t pay them enough to eat.
