Court: Your Unicorn Case Is Not an “Emergency”

Given the current circumstances, I may sometimes write fewer words of my own in an effort to get important content to you more quickly. This is one of those times.

I’ll just say that if you have filed an emergency motion demanding an immediate hearing even though much of the country is shut down because of a health crisis, and the court’s order regarding your motion begins, “[t]his case involves counterfeit unicorn drawings,” you probably don’t need to read any further. But if you aren’t the filer of said motion, this two-page order is certainly worth your time.
