Lawsuit v Yeshiva High School: “Shock Abuse Claim”

I’m getting pretty sick, in both senses, of the epidemic of lawsuits against institutions — upstanding, moral authority institutions — for failing to protect children from sexual abuse by some of those “moral authority” figures, i.e., teachers.

So just in case you think I’m anti-Catholic (or anti-exclusive prep school), here’s a lawsuit against fundamentalist Judaism: Yeshiva University High School former students file $380 million sex abuse lawsuit  – NY Daily News.

What strikes me here is how many former students have joined in this lawsuit: nineteen. And that both the writer of the piece, Michael O’Keefe, and the plaintiffs’ lawyer, Kevin Mulhearn, are Irish, presumably born Catholic. (Maybe that won’t amuse some of you, but c’mon.)
