Lawsuits over art: is this a new trend?

Does it seem to you, as it does to me, that lately there have been a lot of news stories about lawsuits over works of art? Or works of “art,” if you prefer?

Just picked up this one, over a Andy Warhol portrait of Farrah Fawcett.
