Lawyer v. his former law firm slander lawsuit

This item from the New York Law Journal reads as juicy as apple juice and sounds really nasty. Only wish I could get more of the story than merely this abstract:

Panel Reinstates Lawyer’s Suit Against Former Firm

An attorney’s slander suit against his former law firm, which allegedly told a client whom the attorney had taken with him after an acrimonious departure that the lawyer “took your money and used it for his personal use,” has been reinstated by the First Department.
