Man sues “Manhattan” restaurants for adding secret tips to bills

I’m afraid I’m going to be the kind of snotty New Yorker most of the rest of the country hates. Because the “restaurants” sued by this guy — while technically in Manhattan — are chain restaurants.

Olive Garden, Red Lobster, et al., are not Manhattan restaurants. Ruby Tuesday? Come on.

Anyone who eats in places like these when in Manhattan might as well move to Kansas. And sue Olive Garden there.

And hiss-boo to the Daily news for headlining these as “Manhattan restaurants.”
