Microsoft’s (racist) AI chatbot and (rotten) operating systems

From Harper’s Weekly Review:

Microsoft released an artificial-intelligence chatbot designed to learn from human interactions that, one day after going live, began tweeting its support for genocide and white supremacy. “\ (^o^) /,” wrote the bot.

Yeah. Well, instead of creating AI chatbots, maybe Microsoft could attempt to rewrite its core operating system, i.e., Windows, so that Windows 10 doesn’t screw around with me and my non-Microsoft programs.

(That above was SO restrained, I’m amazed at myself. You should be around me when I encounter a Microsoft-produced glitch and yell horrible curses at Bill Gates. Which happens daily. And I feel it coming on now….)
