More animal news: Dinosaur Day in the Old Corral!

Or: The god problem in America.

Here’s a dinosaur. Down there ⇓. It isn’t a real dinosaur. It’s a fiberglass model of a dinosaur. (Note: Real dinosaurs didn’t come in fiberglass.) And it sits outside a McDonald’s in Tucson, Arizona. It seems to be a Tucson landmark of sorts.

So. What’s the problem? A group called Christians Against Dinosaurs want it removed! Because! Evolution! Blah blah blah. And blah!

A model of a Tyrannosaurus rex on display in the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science. A statue of a dinosaur has spurred controversy in Tucson.

Here’s the story, posted on Twitter by the Freedom From Religion Foundation. You know, those wicked people who believe in dinosaurs and evolution, not god.
