I just read this, in the New York Times:
“There is a perception, not altogether unjustified, that this department’s Civil Rights Division goes beyond fair and balanced treatment, but has an agenda.”
That from Jefferson Beauregard Sessions, nominated to be head of the department he’s referring to–the Department of Justice.
Duh? Well, yeah, Mr. Sessions, “this department’s Civil Rights Division” has an agenda: civil rights. Which, by definition, has to do with uncovering and prosecuting what is unfair and unbalanced.
