He wins OK to sue over rat bite in Nassau jail
A man who says a rat bit him on the penis while he was being held in a Long Island jail can sue Nassau County, a federal judge ruled yesterday.
Peter Solomon claims a rat or “similar rodent” bit him when he was jailed in East Meadow in 2007. He filed suit the next year.
The judge said the suit raised enough issues about pest control for it to proceed. — The Associated Press
