Just got this from Kevin Underhill’s Lowering the Bar. It totally screws up my contention that the whole god thing suppresses women and their rights.
This event seems to prove, well, I don’t know. Except whether you’re a woman or a man, DON’T PRAY WITH YOUR EYES SHUT. WHEN YOU’RE DRIVING. Maybe especially if you’re a woman because, hey, women driver jokes are so retro.

FYI, my understanding is that the phrase “God Is My Co-Pilot” is intended as a metaphor.
