The American war on women: women’s basketball fights back

Years ago, maybe during the summer Olympics, I watched a women’s basketball game.

Most or all of the players were professionals–as are the men’s team players. So the level of athleticism was extraordinarily high.

But what really fascinated me was how much faster, fiercer, more exciting the women were than the men’s team–which was, if I remember, an new version of the original so-called Dream Team.

Women’s basketball is thrilling.
