Finding a lawyer: The [legal] customer is always right. Not.

I regularly read a legal blog called Above The Law. There’s a really good piece about how lawyers should and do deal with clients when they review the possibility of filing a lawsuit and discover that the facts do not support a suit.

I wrote about this in a previous post, “Is your case worth pursuing? The Lawyer’s POV,” extracted from the initial history of my broken foot lawsuit.

So here’s a lawyer’s direct experience with an insistent client. Client wants vengeance at any price, lawyer has to determine whether there’s a valid lawsuit.
