The N.C.A.A. lawsuit, via Joe Nocera

I haven’t been following this one. Joe Nocera, however, who has made the injustices of amateur athletics his editorial focus lately, caught me up perfectly. O’Bannon, et al v. N.C.A.A. is the sort of huge lawsuit that will change our perhaps benign perception about college athletics and is likely to change its world the way Curt Flood changed major league baseball’s bound servitude when he sued for free agency.  Here’s Nocera’s solid piece: The Lawsuit and the N.C.A.A. – NYTimes.com.
