Today’s lawsuit: The return of the bedbug!

Bedbugs put bite on co-op

No, not mine. But…

Bedbugs have overrun the penthouse apartment of a ritzy upper West Side co-op, a new lawsuit charges.

The 39 W. 67th St. co-op board is suing the owner of the pricey perch and her tenants for the alleged “mass infestation.”

The suit cites a Jan.16 exterminator visit that discovered thousands of “live bedbugs crawling on the walls in the middle of the day, which indicates that this is a ‘mega’ infestation.”

I’d say so. Wouldn’t you?

The exterminator estimated there were 5,000 to 10,000 pests, the suit says.

Yyyichh.

The board is seeking access to the 15th-floor apartment so it can fumigate the creepy crawlers and remove items infested with the bugs. It charges that the owner’s elderly tenant can’t care for herself.

But maybe not anymore?
