Want to rebel? This could be our first step

If you’re like me, you do not buy anything from Amazon, Home Depot and a bunch of other places. (I’m still grieving over the loss of Bed Bath & Beyond.)

Well, today I learned about a site (and app) which allows us to search companies for their political affiliations and skip the ones we don’t support. This is better than a boycott. Instead of being a negative, a cut-off, it’s positive, letting us know which companies we can feel good buying from.

Goods Unite Us. That’s the link.

(I’ve tried it on my computer — I don’t have a cell phone with which I can do app-y things — and haven’t quite figured it out. But you’re smarter than me, and so is your phone. So see what you think.)
