From Harper’s Weekly Review:
The Albany City Court was closed for fumigation after a defendant was chastised for attempting to film the trial and an audience member released hundreds of cockroaches.
Fumigation. Seems like an excessive remedy for a defendant filming his trial. Taking his phone/camera away would seem more apropos.
The other thing? Sure, fumigate but I want to know why. I mean, you know, was this a metaphoric act and if so, what’s the meaning of it?
P.S. I’m waiting for the next Jan 6 hearing, so…
