What government is doing for me

I told you the story that explains why crews of hardhats are floating on wooden platforms up and down the outside of our building.

Two hours ago, one of those platforms was immediately outside my windows, and I watched the two-person crew apply grout to the façade and then wash the windows.

Both of the hardhats were women. Somehow, I feel proud.
