“You don’t know that” again.

What particularly annoys me are the numerous TV journalists spouting all kinds of legal insight without law degrees.

They really don’t know what they’re talking about. It’s especially irritating because the news channels have plenty of excellent and experienced on-call lawyers who explain things very, very well. So maybe I’m complaining about the questions asked by the hosts, and to whom those questions are directed.

OK. Hosts: stop asking legal questions of journalists who don’t have law degrees.

(I just heard a journalist who does not have a law degree [I look these things up] say with absolute assurance that Steve Bannon will appeal the guilty verdict. He might very well, but the journalist doesn’t know this — and did not explain the nature of appeals, which are regularly misunderstood.)
