The Global War Against Women: A British judge rules on the burqa

From my friend, Jerry Coyne, this follow-up about a Muslim (woman) defendant in a British case and her demand that she be allowed to wear the face-covering burqa throughout her court appearance. The judge came up with a Solomonic compromise.

Jerry then continues to talk about the wearing of the burqa (it is not mentioned in the Koran, he says) and its role in the absolute rule over women which Muslim men insist upon.

My absolute rule: religion is rotten for women.
