NYT invites me to Women in the World Summit

Here’s my email response to the Times, followed by the attractive invitation:

Your invitation to this event would be welcome if you hadn’t chosen to hold it in Lincoln Center’s State Theater, a/k/a David Koch’s theater. Koch’s politics and the use of his vast financial resources are so radically antagonistic to women, to democracy, to culture…i.e., to everything in which we New Yorkers, especially New York women, are highly progressive. Perhaps the next time you decide to have such an event, you might consider that many of us who go to Lincoln Center frequently will not donate to any of the Center’s entities while Koch’s name is on that theater and will not even go to events at the theater which displays his medieval attempt to buy some god’s indulgence for his sins.
