Some animal news: tigers, birds, cats, and fowls

From Harper’s Weekly Review:

The Cincinnati Bengals defeated the Baltimore Ravens; a motorist in North Carolina dialed 9-1-1 after a bald eagle dropped a cat carcass on her windshield; and a man in Washington State died from H5N5, a new strain of bird flu. A man left a live chicken on the W train in Queens; the actor Joaquin Phoenix issued a statement in support of a University of California, Berkeley student who was convicted of felony charges after freeing four chickens from a slaughterhouse; and the canned soup company Campbell’s added “Is Campbell’s chicken 3D-printed?” to its list of frequently asked questions, in an attempt to discredit remarks made by one of its former executives.
