A Georgia Army unit offered soldiers four days off to play Grand Theft Auto VI upon its release in the fall as a reenlistment incentive, streets were closed in Washington, D.C., for a roughly 250-mile car race around the National Mall, a spokesperson for a Canadian marathon organizer admitted that its course this year was more than a half kilometer too long, a humanoid robot broke the 100-meter dash record set by Usain Bolt, and Gustave the Girl Dog, of Seattle, won the 25-meter dash at an international corgi race.

P.S. Why is racing automobiles considered a sport?
